Nose is deliciously yeasty, like bread dough. Palate is light oak, green bananas. Medium finish.
Floral nose – lilac maybe? Slight saltiness on the palate. An elusive quality that none of us could quite pin down down… Matt said it “tastes like sausages and pancakes”.
This new offering from the LCBO is quite enjoyable, and surprisingly affordable! Apple cider with some pencil shavings on the nose. Lots of oak – tastes like Dave’s front door. A mild, honey-ish sweetness with a bit of hazelnut partway through. Fairly short finish.
Nose – floral with bananas. Palate – banana liqueur and black tea. Finish – long and groovy
