Brechin 1976, 26yo “Old Malt Cask”

Not much happening on the nose, but lots on the tongue! Wait, this just in…Pencil Shavings! A sharp first note then Vanilla/pear on the top, with salty licorice undertones. Gives way to a dry, woody finish that’s a bit like chewing on a cedar plank. In a good way.
